Empowering families to live a healthier lifestyle

HOPE is a family based diabetes prevention programme aim to bring families together to learn about healthy food choices and family fun activities.

HOPE consists of four interactive sessions and two follow up evaluation sessions. Each session takes about an hour. Includes dinner for the whole family.

Session One : This is who we are

Session Two: Cultural Value of Food and Generational Patterns

Session Three : Family Fun Activities

Session Four : The Family Action Plan

Each week the sessions will include—a small presentation, then a short fun physical activity, and then end off with a cooking session and we all have dinner together!
